Dominique Girouard, a regular Maritimer from Prince Edward Island, holds the key to triggering a viral explosion on YouTube: binge drinking and a handy cam.

Girouard, 32, creator of the PEI Encyclopedia, said the lewd, rude and crude web series that satirizes Maritimers’ diction, is the spawn of late-night binge
drinking.

“I think the first six episodes we filmed it drop-dead drunk.”
